BEHROR - School found open during inspection by official on GuruNank Jayanti.

Today in Behror many schools were found operating in the area even though Guru Nanak Jayanti, known as the Prakash Parv of Sikhs, is a public holiday.  Apart from being a national holiday on this day, it is also a state holiday according to the CBSE calendar and the calendar campa of the Education Department of the Government of Rajasthan.  .

 On the instructions of the District Collector and higher officials, RP Rakesh Yadav and Hansraj Yadav inspected the RPS, Rath International Schools located in Sotanala from the CBEO office and on the spot these schools were found operating with full student strength.  Due to this action taken by the officials of the Education Department, the schools operating today were stirred up and the schools operating on Bhartrihari Road were discharged ahead of time.

 At present, after the orders of the District Collector to open the school even during the Diwali holidays, the Behror Tehsildar and the CBEO had inspected and instructed to run the schools according to the campa calendar.  In such a situation, the local residents also believe that this inspection is only a formality, no further action will be taken on them.

 After all, why action is not taken* -- After a little investigation, it came to the fore that in these private schools, the administrative officers of the city, the big leaders, the government teachers and the children of the officers and employees of other government departments, who are given free or 20 to 50 children by the schools.  Up to a percent discount is given, special treatment is also given to their children and donations are also given in the programs organized by the education department from time to time.
